We did, all but the last row. Lesson One: don't sit on an aisle seat in the last row of three seats. The number of bums that we met face to face. We were close to the lavatories though. Last to be fed: one gets the left overs: We did, however arrive later, ( being in the back of the plane!) thus had less time to spend in transit.
Confined in an aeroplane for a number of hours, one is able to observe the imperfections / oddities / peculiarities of our fellow travellers. It is truly facinating. It is fortunate that we have no such blemishes. Parents travelling with babies, have enough problems without abuse and aggressive behaviour due to a child crying. People can make a mistake, and sit in the wrong seat without the rightful possessor asking that it be fumigated before he sits there. I'd love to read their blog on us.
Few hours at Changi to kill. So therapeutic leaches are the go.........
No not leaches, just fish that chew ones toes and skin off......piranha I believe, at least that's what I told the other tourists. ( I could be mistaken about the exact species)
Sarah sehbear - you would clearly love this.
Soon to get on the Silk Air flight to Manado, where the floods are rather severe, so we'll see what happens from there. AND we've got Indonesian customs and the specula ( plural of speculum) to experience.
Stay tuned......
